GRL GANG, a label and community dedicated to supporting women and non-binary people in dance music, is back again with the biggest installment of their annual Wreck The Halls compilation yet. The compilation, out today, features eight tracks from some of dance music’s most promising up-and-comers with Dino Shadix, TINYKVT, Kendoll, and more offering fresh tracks to feast on. For this Your EDM premiere, we’ve chosen to focus on onumi’s track “FALLCATCHER,” a blistering four-and-a-half minute bass-filled journey. “FALLCATCHER” has plenty of winter-themed motifs to lick your lips at, if, maybe, it was a hellish winter. Beginning with almost TRON-like…

Lifted from Nirvana’s iconic 1991 record Nevermind, the cover marks RÜFÜS DU SOL’s first Like A Version in eight years, having last covered Foals’ “My Number” and Booka Shade’s “Charlotte” in 2014. For reference, the group didn’t even release their mega-hit “Innerbloom” until 2016. Compared to Flume’s latest, wildly chaotic appearance on Like A…

Thinking logically, it would make sense that, at some point in time, Zeds Dead and GRiZ have released a song together. Alas, whether it’s hopeful wishes overwriting reality or just the Mandela Effect, the two artists have never officially put out a collaboration — until next week. “Ecstasy of Soul” is due for release next week, December 14. The track debuted last September during the first-ever Zeds Dead b2b GRiZ set at GoldRush Festival in Phoenix, and starts with a cover of the classic theme song for The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly before evolving into a monster dubstep…

At its core, music is a subjective experience. Even the most technically proficient musician might prefer making math rock, and some people don’t like that. Sometimes, heavily distorted sounds and discordant melodies might garner mass appeal. Narrowing down all the albums released into a top 10 is a purely subjective exercise therein. However, there are some factors to take into account when doling out a ranking for creative endeavors. Does the artist evolve in their own sound? Is there something new and exciting to notice in the production, writing, arrangement, etc.? Does it push limits in any way, whether to…

The daughter of Iranian/Ukrainian parents and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she has stayed largely out of the public eye while becoming comfortable and confident in her own skin. Overcoming a debilitating battle with insomnia in early 2022, which she considers her greatest obstacle to date, inspired Rezz to go on the podcast SHE/HER/THEY with KITTENS and be more vulnerable and open up about her struggles than ever before. While on a grueling tour schedule, Rezz relied on prescription sleeping medication…
